Solid Sapele Platter Board with Handle 40cm

All our chopping boards are made from the highest grade timber, which has been kiln dried to reduce the levels of moisture in the wood, ensuring it is as stable as possible with a minimal risk of cracking or warping. This solid Sapele paddle board design has a handle, a hole for hanging, and smooth surface for easy chopping. The platter board is ideal for sharing food with friends and family.

We have treated the board with pure mineral oil which is a tasteless, odourless, clear and food safe product, fully approved by the British Pharmacopeia. This protects the wood when cleaning, and brings out the natural colour, beauty and sheen. Wood is a natural product and therefore the grain and colour may vary from the pictures shown.

Delivery:
We make all our products to order in our North Wales workshop, and as such the item will be shipped within 5 working days.

Care and Maintenance:
In order to maintain the beauty and durability of the board it needs to be oiled frequently. We recommend oiling the board once a week if used regularly, using a food safe white mineral oil, which can be purchased from a number of retailers. Follow the oil manufacturer’s instructions paying particular attention to the engraving and draining grooves.
